Process
You’ll find some iteration of this process on all design agency websites. So while our process may not be completely unique our ideas and creativity set us apart.
1. Understand
All projects, from a complete rebrand to an exhibition leave-behind, start with the brief. We take the pain out of this process by asking meaningful questions from the start to ensure our creativity is focused on solving the problems that matter.
2. Design
This is where the fun begins. We bring innovation and careful consideration to all our creative responses. We don’t have a ‘house style’ – each response is tailored to the specific needs of your project, which means you will be involved every step of the way.
3. Deliver
The time and effort put into earlier stages counts for little if the finished items falls short of expectations. We only work with trusted partners and carefully manage all production processes so what we deliver hits the mark every time.
Who we are
Gemma Tacon
Gemma set up Tacon Design in 2011, working as a freelance design consultant in Oxford and Brighton. She is a designer, art director and account manager.
Since graduating from Nottingham Trent University in 1998, Gemma has worked full-time in the graphic design industry, as a designer at O&G, senior designer at Mosaic and Head of Design at 48 Fitzroy. Over the years she gained vast experience, working with a broad range of clients, from large, global organisations to small businesses and charities.
Jonty Tacon
Jonty is a designer, photographer and account manager. Since graduating from Nottingham Trent University in 1998 he has gained over 27 years of industry experience in all aspects of design and branding, Jonty has been lucky enough to have worked both in client and supplier facing roles. This has enabled him to see, from the inside, how effective and considered design can help an organisation to grow and enable ideas to resonate with an audience.
